Lisa G brings Rumla to life with an intimate small town feel set amongst the exotic and fascinating culture of Africa. Beautifully descriptive words make it easy to get lost in a place of secrets, mysteries and magical forces. With real and relatable characters, I can see people of all ages enjoying this book.

This story had me intrigued from the very first page and I have been absolutely blown away by the imagination of local author Lisa.G. There is simply nothing better than reading a book that draws you in further each chapter but also has your mind racing ahead as you attempt to decipher the unfolding mystery being laid out before you. Each time the story takes a turn, you can never be quite sure what you'll discover next.
The somewhat mischievous main character I just adored, she is intelligent, curious and has an entertaining relationship with her friends. I quickly found myself beginning to pay careful attention to any freshly introduced characters, however seemingly insignificant, on the off chance that they become more important further into the intrigue, which may or may not be the case."
This is a tale to get lost in and just when you think you might have found your feet, all becomes not what it seemed.
An excellent read.'
